IKMS Award Ceremony + Achievers' Concert- Coming Up!

Dear IKMS community,

Announcing our 2026 IKMS Award Ceremony + Achievers' Concert!

As per our long tradition, we conclude each year with the Major Function that showcases IKMS talent and gathers our school community to celebrate another successful year.

We encourage all our families to attend and to experience the wonderful feel of a community united by the love of music. By watching and listening to our best performers, you will share and be inspired by their outstanding talent, by the passion and dedication of their teachers and by the results of the top-quality education that our school prides itself on.

The event will include:

Showcase performance of our Award winning and AMEB top results students

Ensemble work

Surprise guest performances

Trophies and Awards presentation

Afternoon tea

The function will take place on

Saturday, 21st November, 2026 at

St.Nicholas Cathedral, 344 Vulture Street, Woolloongabba

1.00pm – 4.30pm.

For our newer families, below is some information about our criteria for various awards and the way to go about booking seats for the event.

Concert Tickets

The cost of entry is a flat rate of $55 per family, both participants and audience, of up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children).

The seats in the venue are not numbered, therefore sitting will be on the “first in - best dressed” principle.

Afternoon tea will be prepared by the church volunteers and can be purchased on the spot, with the proceedings going to the cathedral admin.

Onsite parking is available, however there is some limit. If arriving late, you might need to look for parking on the close by streets.

As from now, family entry tickets can be purchased by depositing $55 to our usual school account. Please put “IKMS Award Ceremony + name of student” for reference. Following that, a confirmation email will be sent to you, verifying the reservation, along with your tickets.

Don’t forget to note the date in your diaries to avoid double bookings during this busy time of the year. And come and join us for the afternoon to

remember!

Kind regards,

Inna Kogan | IKMS Principal
